Late Thursday, Undersheriff Travis Palmer reported the man they were looking has been located and is hospitalized at OU Medical Center.

Palmer reports he had an accident on his bicycle along Triple XXX Road and suffered a head injury. The Silver Alert is canceled.

Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Deputies have searched all day for a missing man near McLoud, but haven't been able to find him and hope the public can help.

Undersheriff Travis Palmer said a Silver Alert was issued for a Pottawatomie County man last seen Wednesday, authorities said.

James Murphy, 49 was last seen at 60 Vera Place in McLoud. Murphy is described as a white male. He was last seen wearing baggy jeans, work boots and possibly a jacket. Authorities said he could be traveling on a red or black bicycle.

Authorities describe Murphy as a person under proven medical or physical disability. He is autistic and deaf, so Palmer said he won't be able to hear anyone calling his name.

Officials believe Murphy is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.

Palmer said he had been spotted Thursday near the Kickapoo Casino in McLoud, but so far he hasn't been found. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
