The search was ongoing late Monday night for four prisoners who escaped from the Lincoln County jail in Chandler early Monday, including one man awaiting trial on a first-degree murder charge.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office reports the prisoners escaped sometime between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. Monday through the building's ventilation system, a jailbreak much like the escape route three prisoners used to gain freedom from the same facility back in March.

In that case, all three were eventually apprehended, but two of the three who escaped back in March were among the four escapees who fled Monday.

As of late Monday night, all four prisoners remained on the lam. They are identified as Sonny Baker, 41; Brian Allen Moody, 23; Jeremy Tyson Irvin, 31 and Trey Glenn Goodnight, 27.

Baker and Moody escaped with another prisoner back in March.

Irvin was being held without bond for a 2016 first-degree murder charge in connection with a Stroud homicide, while the others were being held on property-related crimes.

Monday afternoon, the search for the escapees centered in Pottawatomie County for a time when a stolen white pickup believed connected to the escapees was spotted and later found abandoned near SH 102 and SH 9.

A flurry of law enforcement was in that area Monday as part of the search.

Lincoln County Sheriff Charlie Dougherty, who told the media they are working with contractors to better seal off and secure the ventilation area, said he considers three out of the four prisoners to be extremely dangerous.

He said Baker is awaiting transfer to the Department of Corrections to begin a 10-year prison term.

Irvin is reported to be from the Agra area. Goodnight is from the Pottawatomie County/Shawnee area, while Baker and Moody are both from the southwestern Lincoln County area.

Anyone with information on these prisoners should call 911.
