Commissioner Eddie Stackhouse said the Kubota was unable to be repaired due to an inability to find replacement parts.

On Monday, the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved District 3 to purchase a John Deere 6120M cab tractor from P& K Equipment in Kingfisher.

Total cost of the vehicle is $85,371.44, but District 3 will be trading in

a 2012 Kubota M9540, bringing the total cost to $68,500.

In other commission news: The asphalt paving project at North Rock Creek Schools was awarded to S& S Sealing Co. Total cost of the project is $23,358.

North Rock Creek Schools will use funds available to the district from the county's education sales tax.

The commissioners awarded Glover and Associates the contract for the Moccasin Trail paving project. The road will be paved from County Road NS-357 to Okfuskee county line in District 1.

Glover & Associates came in with the low bid of $486,059.54.

The board approved District 2 to surplussed a 2008 Ford F3D after the turbo blew up.
