PRAGUE — Prague combined six hits with five walks and four Davenport errors Monday en route to a 9-1 victory.

The Red Devils, 11-0, scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to make it 9-0 and the game was stopped after 4 ½ innings on the eight-run rule.

Leadoff hitter Macyn Anderson, who was 2 for 2, had Prague’s only extra-base hit with a double. Anderson also stole three bases.

Rachel Rumsey, Jaycee Johnson and Anderson scored two runs apiece.

Beth Denney took the pitching win with a five-inning four-hitter. Denney allowed one earned run, whiffed seven and walked three. All four of Davenport’s hits were singles.

Of Denney’s 94 pitches, 57 were for strikes.

Prague was never pressed after scoring three runs in the first.

The hosts didn’t commit an error.
