SKIATOOK – Following an 8-0 trouncing to Noble Monday, the Lady Wolves of Shawnee couldn't get the bats going in a 2-1 loss to Skiatook Tuesday in their district opener.

Carlie Torbett drove in the Lady Wolves' only run with a single to bring him Kristin Haddox in the top of the fourth. Haddox went 2-3 in the game to earn half of Shawnee's hits.

Skiatook scored a run in the fourth and another in the fifth that came on the hands of an error at second. Baylie Enright gave up six hits and walked four in her second loss of the season. Shawnee will host a tournament at FireLake this weekend, beginning Thursday as they face Pryor.
