Prague's domination of rival Chandler started early Friday night.

A holding penalty on the Lions' first play from scrimmage backed them up near the 10-yard line. They attempted a screen pass that was a backward pass. The intended receiver wasn't able to haul it in and Red Devil standout Ray Embry dove on the live ball in the end zone to give Prague a very early lead.

After Prague took possession a second time, a penalty backed them up to their own nine-yard line. But Chandler couldn't take advantage of the field position as Calvin Boyce found a seam up the middle and sprinted 41 yards to midfield. Boyce finished the drive a few plays later with a 12-yard touchdown run. The PAT was wide right to keep the Red Devil lead at 13-0.

Prague kept the pressure on late in the first quarter as Boyce scored for the second time in the first quarter. The two-point conversion failed to leave the score at 19-0.

Embry scored his second touchdown of the night on the next Prague possession when he went up and snatched a pass that was thrown up for grabs and romped 70 yards for a touchdown. Boyce ran the two point attempt in to give Prague a 27-0 lead early in the second period.

Boyce scored his third touchdown on the next possession and Austin Chesser finished the scoring for the Red Devils with a long run just before halftime.

Both took turns scoring in the second half and Prague captured a 54-6 season-opening win.
