A mid-morning single-vehicle accident resulted in the driver being transported to the hospital Sunday.

According to Shawnee Police Department Cpl. Kevin Nichols' report, at 10:58 a.m. a black Dodge Ram pickup drove through a privacy fence and then crashed into the southwest corner of a residence at 1701 N. Center.

The driver, Juana Hernandez Camacho, 24, was reportedly unconscious in the driver seat when Nichols arrived at the scene.

Shawnee firefighters had to break out the passenger-side window to pull Hernandez Camacho from the vehicle; she was then transported to St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital.

SPD Sgt. Dan Shumaker said there was no indication of drug or alcohol use suspected as a cause, according to the report.

He said some of the privacy fence struck a parked car in the driveway and there appeared to be significant damage to the siding on the home.
