Carl Albert improved to 30-2 on the season with the one-hit shutout against 4A Bethel.

The Lady Titans exploded for 5 runs in the first innings and cruised to an easy win.

The Lady Wildcats fell to 20-13 in the loss. They went three up, three down except for the fourth inning when Rian Gamble singled to start the inning and then made it to second on a fielder's choice and advanced to third on a passed ball.

Jordyn Zachary took the loss in the circle. Only three of her eight runs allowed were earned due to three errors by her defense. She gave up eight hits including two homeruns and struck out two. She didn't walk a batter.

Bethel begins bi-district play Thursday against Ada at 5 p.m.
