This month, visitors to the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center can expect to experience a variety of exciting family-friendly events including an Oklahoma Foundation Quarter Horse Registry exhibition, a dog show, the Triangle Fall Sale and more.

The Expo Center will welcome the Oklahoma Foundation Quarter Horse Registry for their winter show Oct. 14-15. Classes on Saturday, Oct. 14 will feature herd work and speed events including barrel racing, pole bending, keyhole, stake race, breakaway roping, ranch cutting and more. Classes on Sunday, Oct. 15 will feature reining, handy ranch and others. The event will be judged by Rebecca Frerking and Deb Adams. Classes will begin at 8 a.m. both days. Dog show enthusiasts are invited to the Expo Center for the Seminole Kennel Club show Oct. 20-22. The event will feature more than 450 canines in several different breed shows and will commence Friday, Oct. 20 from 4-10 p.m. The event will continue Saturday, Oct. 21 and Sunday Oct. 22 starting at 8 a.m. both days. Vendors will be on-site displaying a variety of goods. Spectators are welcome to attend for free. First-time attendees are invited to request a Show Tour upon arrival to learn about show dynamics, ask questions and more. Only show animals are permitted at the event. Join the highly anticipated 38th annual Triangle Fall Horse Sale to be held at the Expo Center Oct. 27-29. The event will commence with sale session No. 1 at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 and will be followed by sale session No. 2 as well as the Cowboy Trailer Sales Fish Fry. Saturday, Oct. 28 will kick-off with a team roping demonstration at 8 a.m. followed by sale session No. 3 at 9 a.m. and No. 4 immediately after. Visitors to the event on Sunday, Oct. 29 will enjoy Cowboy Church with Col. Steve Friskup at 9 a.m. followed by barrel demonstrations and the Jesses Topaz Jazz Brunch at 11 a.m. The event will wrap up with sale No. 5 and No. 6. The Basketweavers Guild of Oklahoma will host their 18th annual Weaver’s Weekend at the Expo Center Oct. 27-29. Members from around the state of Oklahoma will convene for a special weekend of basket weaving and socializing.
