The Shawnee boys took sixth as a team to qualify for state at their Class 6A regional in Broken Arrow Saturday as the girls finished in 11th.

The Shawnee boys took sixth as a team to qualify for state at their Class 6A regional in Broken Arrow Saturday as the girls finished in 11th. Clifford Littleton finished in 16:57 to take 6th for the Shawnee boys and Kyle Henry came in 23rd with a time of 17:41. Brice Koons (17:50) finished 28th and Jacob Cahall (18:32) finished 47th to round out the top 50 for the Wolves. Clay Dominy (18:54), Buddy Cahall (19:02) and David Skinner- Mcafe (19:31) also raced in the event to earn the Wolves a spot at state next week.

Serenity Rezentes topped the Shawnee girls with a time of 23:09 for 52nd in a pool of 108 and Jenzen Miller finished 67th with a time of 24:22. Machenzie McDaniel (24:27), Kiera Gonzales (24:30), and Ella Swantek (24:31) finished 70th through 72nd.
