Services for Dorothy Nadine Logsdon will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at New Life Church, 1231 E. 10th St., Shawnee. Pastor Charles Sutton will be officiating. Interment will be directly after the service at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Services for Dorothy Nadine Logsdon will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at New Life Church, 1231 E. 10th St., Shawnee. Pastor Charles Sutton will be officiating. Interment will be directly after the service at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Dorothy was born to Ben and Rena Nelson on April 28, 1930. She passed away Oct. 20, 2017, peacefully, surrounded by her daughters, grandchildren and friends.

Dorothy retired after 20 years from Tinker Air Force Base.

In addition, among her accomplishments, Dorothy was an amazing artist, earning national awards over the years. However, her greatest award in life were her five daughters, 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, always teaching and sharing Jesus.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: David and Sharon LaMonica, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Jacquelyn Roland, Bethel, Ms. Annette “Cookie” Johnson, Shawnee, Dale and Connie Wilkins, Blanket, Texas, Michael and Katheryn Rush, Edmond; brother: Tom Nelson, Oklahoma City; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Jean Vincent and Mrs. Mary Deathrage, Shawnee. In addition, extended family members and close friends, Rayma Terrill of Oklahoma City and Opal Dinwiddie of Shawnee, and many nieces and nephews, whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin H. Logsdon.
