This Thursday, Suzanne and Randy Gilbert are sponsoring the 12th annual Tecumseh Family Thanksgiving.

“It is truly a blessed day and we want anyone to join us for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner that does not have family to spend it with,” Suzanne Gilbert said.

The event will start at 11 a.m. and dinner will be served until 2 p.m at the Tecumseh City Hall.

“Jerry and Kelli Kuhn prepare the dressing, Ron Sharp prepares the potatoes and the Oklahoma Tribal Conservation Council donates the pies,” Gilbert said. “Tecumseh First Baptist Church lets us use their kitchen to cook prepare the meal. The City of Tecumseh provides the auditorium where the dinner will be served. Terry and Pam O'Rorke and all of their family help set up and have since the first year.”

A traditional Thanksgiving dinner, consisting of turkey, potatoes, green beans, cranberries and pie will be served.
