Billie Berniece Goins, 90, of Shawnee, formerly of Big Cabin, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, in Shawnee.

She was born July 23, 1927, in Tulsa to parents Edward and Elva (Goodwin) Bebrick. She graduated from high school in Big Cabin.

On Dec. 9, 1944, she married L.W. (Bill) Goins. Billie was the bookkeeper for the family business, Goins Construction Company. She also worked as a postal clerk at Big Cabin Post Office. Bill and Billie enjoyed many years of RV living. Summers were spent in Colorado and winters in South Texas. She was a longtime member at First Baptist Church, Big Cabin and First Baptist Church, White Oak. She was currently a member of University Baptist Church of Shawnee.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her son David, and her sister Dorothy Underwood.

She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Carol and John Wilson of Oklahoma City and Tami and Greg Ward of Shawnee, daughter-in-law Kim Goins of Bentonville, Arkansas; grandchildren Lance, Michael, Nicholas and Rebecca Goins, Serena Wilson Watson, Ryan and Garrett Ward, and Sierra Ward Glover, as well as seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Doris Roberts, age 100, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
