CASHION — Gabe Gouge delivered a 26-point night Friday, sparking Dale to a 48-46 triumph over Oklahoma Christian School in a semifinal test at the Cashion County Line Tournament.
Gouge hit two free throws with 10 seconds remaining to give coach Jeff Edmonson’s squad a 48-44 lead.
The Pirates then allowed OCS to hit a layup without committing a foul. OCS, with no remaining timeouts, was unable to stop the clock.

Dale was 10 of 15 from the charity stripe for 66.6 percent. OCS was 13 of 17 for 76.4 percent. Gouge was 7 of 10.
Logan Woodruff netted 8 points and Pirate teammate Brady Johnson had 7, including a trey.

“A week and a half ago, we beat them by four points,” Edmonson said. “I am proud of the way we competed tonight.
“This is a great win. We beat a really well-coached team. It’s not easy to beat them twice in two weeks.”
