Polling places for 4 precincts in Pottawatomie County have been changed for all future elections, Jeannie Stover, secretary of the Pottawatomie County Election Board, has announced.

The changes are as follows:

Precinct 1 --- The former polling location was South Rock Creek School. The new polling place will be at Rock Creek Baptist Church, 44900 Hardesty Rd, Shawnee.

Precinct 9 --- The former polling location was St. Gregory’s University W.P. Woodfield House. The new polling place will be at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 39307 MacArthur, Shawnee.

Precinct 13 --- The former polling location was Northridge Church of Christ. The new polling place will be at Faith Community Church of God, 43005 E. MacArthur, Shawnee.

Precinct 21 --- The former polling location was South Rock Creek School. The new polling place will be at Rock Creek Baptist Church, 44900 Hardesty Rd, Shawnee.

“Pottawatomie County Election Board prides it self on serving the voters of the county. One way of doing this is to ensure that our precincts are handicap accessible, adequate space to hold elections, sufficient parking availability, and many other aspects are taken into consideration when choosing a precinct location,” Stover said. “ The above-mentioned precincts were relocated due to various reasons. We hope that the voters of Precinct 1, Precinct 9, Precinct 13, and Precinct 21 find their new locations to be convenient and accessible.”
