Dorothy Ann Pritchett, 82, of Prague, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, left this life on Jan. 24, 2018, in Shawnee.

Dorothy Ann Pritchett, 82, of Prague, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, left this life on Jan. 24, 2018, in Shawnee.

She was born Jan. 12, 1936, in Seminole to William Fredrick Beichner and Edith Blanch Miller Beichner.

Ann married Joseph Leroy Pritchett at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Seminole on Aug. 18, 1956. They celebrated their 61st anniversary last year.

Ann was an active member of St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church in Midwest City and worked at Tinker Air Force Base prior to her retirement in 1986. Following her and her husband’s retirement, they moved to Prague and became members of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.

She loved crocheting, embroidery, baking pies and everything cat. She was a loving mother and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ann’s deep love for God and her Catholic faith was a beacon for the Pritchett family.

Ann is survived by her husband Joe; three sons, Don of Oklahoma City, Tom and his wife Valerie of Dallas, Texas, and Paul and his wife Beth of Plano, Texas; five grandchildren, Ashley, Christy, Stephanie, Maggie and Tim; three great-grandchildren, Everett, Adalynn and Evelyn and sister, Billie Cox of Garland, Texas.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Clifford Beichner of Seminole; sisters, Helen Talley of Mustang, and Mary Margaret Stevens Cobb of Shawnee.

A wake will be held on Friday, Jan. 26, at 6 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague with Father Long Phan officiating. Interment will follow at Gable Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
