At Monday's Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners meeting, Bethel Schools was approved to purchase new server technology.
The equipment was supplied by CDW-G and was the low bid at $7,607.91. The upgrade works with the current system so Bethel was able to avoid replacing the entire server.
Bethel Schools will use funds available to the district from the county's education sales tax.
The commissioners approved a $75,000 request from Waller Ice, LLC. to acquire funds from Pottawatomie County Economic Development to help bring a 3,000-square foot ice making business to Macomb.
Waller Ice, LLC currently has ice vending machines in Shawnee, Tecumseh, Seminole and Stratford.
There was no burn ban implemented at Monday's meeting.
