A McLoud woman has died from injuries she suffered in an overnight crash in Seminole County.


The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Patricia Eastep, 39, died at OU Medical Center Saturday afternoon from multiple injuries.

The accident occurred about 1:29 a.m. Saturday on US 270, about 1.2 miles west of Seminole.

Eastep was driving a 2002 Ford Mustang westbound on US 270 when her vehicle struck head-on a disabled Ford pickup that was in the roadway.

The driver of that pickup had exited the vehicle after colliding with a cow that was in the road.

Eastep was taken by Medi Flight to OU Medical Center.

Cause of the collision was listed as a disabled vehicle being in the roadway. The patrol said seat belts were not in use.
