Calvin Lee Hamon Jr. was born in Shawnee on Oct. 3, 1993, and lost his battle with depression on Feb. 7, 2018, in Tecumseh at the age of 24.

He was preceded in death by his father Calvin Lee Hamon Sr. and his grandfathers Daniel Nathan Fittler and Jimmy Orville Hamon.
He is survived by his mother, Deborah, his twin sister Amber and their younger sister Brittany, and his niece Stella, as well as his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His memorial will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Tecumseh.
He was a caring brother and a loving son with a creative soul that held a love for art. He was incredibly strong-willed and passionate about the causes he believed in. He was an ordained minister and always strove to put God first in his life. His loyalty and compassion for his friends was unparalleled. He will be truly and dearly missed.
