The Shawnee Community Foundation and the Kyle Lewis Memorial Fund recently received a donation of $2,500 from Anheuser-Busch.

The Memorial Fund is part of the Shawnee Community Foundation and provides scholarships to deserving graduates of Bethel High School in Shawnee, Oklahoma where Kyle was a 2010 graduate. Since its inception in 2010, the Kyle Lewis Memorial Fund has provided $55,000 in scholarships to 11 outstanding students. Anheuser-Busch contributed $2,500 in support of the Shawnee Community Foundation and Kyle Lewis Memorial Fund.

“For the past eight years, our mission has been to support deserving graduates through Kyle’s legacy,” said Marty Lewis, Kyle’s father and co-director of the Kyle Lewis Memorial Fund. “We’ve been able to do this due to generous donors like Anheuser-Busch who support the Kyle Lewis Memorial scholarship program. Anheuser-Busch’s contribution plays a key role is our being able to award another scholarship this year and for years to come.”

Anheuser-Busch, a member of the Oklahoma Beer Alliance, also recently donated to other Oklahoma City-area nonprofits that support children, families, individuals and the community.
