NstockNow, located at 4405 N. Harrison Street, is closed for repairs after an automobile accident last weekend.

The accident occurred Saturday, March 10 around 9 p.m. when a truck drove through the front of the store, causing significant damage to the storefront along with merchandise, store owner Brad Bowen confirmed.

“We are very thankful nobody was in the store at the time of the accident,” he said. “It could've really hurt or even killed someone judging by the amount of damage to the store.”

Bowen said the store will be closed for about a month while the store is under repair and merchandise inspected.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital by REACT EMS and was issued a citation at the hospital for DUI, said Shawnee Police Cpl. Vivian Lozano-Stafford.

According to their website, NStockNow is a store that offers the latest trends in team sports, action sports, lifestyle apparel and accessories.
