Born September 15, 1948, in Albany, California, to Joseph and Mavis Ellis, Bobby Dewayne Ellis passed on March 20, 2018.

Bob attended Noble High School and at 17 joined the Army where he served in the Vietnam war. Known as "Camo Bob," anyone who meet him knew he had never met a stranger and loved to talk to people and tell stories (most of them more than once). Bob loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, but fishing was his true passion! There wasn't a waterhole with fish that Bob hadn't fished. Bob's favorite saying was, “I survived two wars, two ex-wives, and five children!”

Bob leaves behind siblings: Janice Ellis, Mike Ellis, Belinda McBroom, Betty Jones, David Ellis, Joseph Ellis Jr.; children: Kimberly and Mark Rose, Melissa and Ernest Sego, Veronica and Brian Gibson, Lucas and Heather Ellis, Jessica Ellis, Zachary Philbrick.

He was preceded in death by one child, Kenneth "Bubba" Ellis,

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., March 30, at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin. Celebration of life will be at 2 p.m., March 31, at Tecumseh Lake.
