Lincoln County Sheriff Charlie Dougherty is asking for help from the Shawnee and Pottawatomie County community in the search for a suspect involved in a burglary stash house raid near Prague.

Dougherty said the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is actively looking for Jonathan (John) Robertson, who has an outstanding felony warrant for knowingly concealing stolen property and false declaration to a pawn broker.

On March 18, 2018, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant on Robertson’s residence and recovered numerous amounts of stolen property connected to over 100 burglaries throughout Lincoln County, Pottawatomie County, Okfuskee County, Pontotoc County and McClain County.

Sheriff Dougherty said after talking to numerous eyewitnesses, Robertson is somewhere inside the city of Shawnee. He is possibly living in abandoned houses and/or structures, the sheriff said, and he may possibly be using a lock picking kit to open door locks, which do not show signs of being broke-into.

Robertson has no immediate family in the area and Sheriff Dougherty believes Robertson will attempt to con would be victims into helping him either by using their phones or asking for money.

Sheriff Dougherty knows that as of Tuesday March 27th, 2018, Robertson was wearing a brown Harley Davidson jacket and carrying a black backpack in the Shawnee area.

Robertson may also be armed with a pistol and is considered extremely dangerous. Sheriff Dougherty believes he is becoming more desperate as he runs out of resources. Robertson may possibly be driving a brown Harley Davidson motorcycle or a 2006 model green ford Expedition both with Wisconsin Tags.

Sheriff Dougherty also believes Robertson has also been walking in the alleys, side roads and using the train tracks to get around Shawnee. If anyone has information please call 911 or contact your local law enforcement agency or the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 405-258-1191.
