At Monday's Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners meeting, the commissioners approved for the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office to sell four tasers and accessories to the Grady County Sheriff's Department.

Pottawatomie County is selling two used X26 and two new X26 series tasers along with twelve 21-foot cartridges for a total cost of $2,200.

The commissioners approved a $10,000 downpayment on the purchase of the property at 330 N. Broadway. MidFirst Bank once occupied the building at that location.

In other commission news, the board opened a quote for interactive smart panels for Bethel Schools, which was tabled until next week.
