Prague's Rachel Rumsey is an active member within her school and the Prague community.

She has been selected as one of The Shawnee News-Star and Patriot Auto Group Students of the Month for March and is now in the running to win a car.

“Rachel is a wonderful young lady. She not only has a sweet smile, she also displays a great deal of character, good morals and is an all-around great student,” Prague High School Counselor Stephanie Lee said.

As a member of the Prague Lady Red Devils softball team, Ramsey finds time to be an active FFA, 4-H and Business Professionals of America member. She also finds success in the classroom and made the Principal's Honor Roll her entire high school career.

Rumsey also volunteers her time at the concession stand during Red Devil games. She's been an active participant in the Christmas Tree Food Drive, served guests at annual banquets, helped out with the Colleen Cleveland 5K and made scarfs for the elderly with the FFA chapter.

In her community, Rumsey and the Prague FFA chapter have been involved in several projects. She's helped with with Habitat for Humanity storm cleanup, various Lincoln County fundraisers, Frank Martin Memorial Horseshoe tournament and the regional food bank.

Rumsey earned the honor of being the 2017 Central District Livestock Show Grand Champion. She's was a member of the 2016 state runner-up slow pitch softball team and a member of the academic all-conference team.

After graduating high School, Rumsey plans on attending Northern Oklahoma College and major in Agriculture Communications.

Rumsey currently maintains a 3.61 GPA
