Phil and Sue Stafford of Tecumseh recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Phil and Sue Stafford of Tecumseh recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple was united in marriage March 27, 1968, in Del City. They were honored with a dinner and weekend get-away given by their family.

Celebrating their golden anniversary were their three children: Laurie and Clint Paxson, Larry and Holly Stafford, and Lesley and Brandon Shores; four grandchildren: BJ and Mandy Mitchell, Curtis and Destiny Mitchell, Pebbles and Andrew Birney, and Dakota Paxson; and seven great-grandchildren: Kailei, Steeli, Sosi, Bree, Lilyanne, Calla, and Everlie.

Phil has been a truck driver for 50 years and recently retired from YRC. Sue is retired from Tecumseh Public School.

Phil enjoys golfing, going to car shows, and driving his Corvette. Sue enjoys crocheting, reading and watching movies. Together, they enjoy spending time with their family, attending their great-grandchildren’s sporting events, traveling, watching bull riding, golf, and spoiling their dogs, Pixey and Posey.
