Tecumseh senior Kaelee Trammell is a leader at Tecumseh High school and maintains an almost perfect GPA.

She has been selected as one of The Shawnee News-Star and Patriot Auto Group Students of the Month for April and is now in the running to win a car.

“She has weathered too many storms for someone her age but has survived and desires to be a positive force in our society,” Pre-AP English II teacher Gina Payne said.

She leads her section each day and is a district and state choir member. Trammell also teaches children at Kid's Church at Tecumseh's Assembly of God.

Trammell helps with garage sales to help raise money for children to attend church camp. She also helps with the community Easter egg hunt each year. She volunteers with Mission Tecumseh and helps provide free food and services for the Tecumseh community.

According to Trammell's teachers, she is an independent student who is trusted to complete tasks thoroughly and make appropriate decisions when needed. She takes responsibility for her actions and her future and is very motivated through her desire to help others.

After graduation, Trammell plans on attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University and will pursue a degree in musical therapy. She currently maintains a 3.96 GPA.
