At Monday's Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners meeting, the board approved Shawnee Public Schools to purchase new HVAC systems for the Shawnee Middle School gymnasium and the Early Childhood Kitchen.

The low bid was S.E. Hardesty Company for a total cost of $141,568.

The commissioners approved the OSU Extension Center to build a new metal storage building. The contract was awarded to Indaco Metals for a total cost of $7,341.02.

The commissioners set the minimum bid price of 809 N. Hobson, a county owned property, at $100.
