There are more than 900 people expected to attend Monday night's Best of Preps event at FireLake Arena.

Here is a quick guide for what you can expect Monday night.

Registration tables at the door. You can have electronic or printed tickets. If you signed up online, we have your name on the list. When you arrive, you will sign in with one of those methods. All athletes and student of the year finalists will receive a Best of Preps backpack with a few swag items inside.

Once you're registered, the fun starts. We will have a red carpet experience. The only difference is that our red carpet is actually green. It matches the rest of decorations. We have a 20-foot long photo backdrop where you can take selfies or pose for our photographers. If you shoot your own, post them on social media with the hashtag #NSPreps.

After the red carpet, you can look around a little and find a good seat. We will have a program at all of the seats thanks to all of our sponsors and Pinecliffe Printers who did a great job for us.

As soon as you find a seat, head to one of the buffet lines where the staff of Paul's Place will serve a great dinner along with either tea or water. When you finish with your main courses, Holiday Inn Express will be serving coffee and dessert in the south hallway of the Arena - near the main concession area.

After dinner, we will have an invocation from Rev. Darrell Fields and then hear from CPN Tribal Chairman John "Rocky" Barrett and Patriot Auto Group's Tatton Manning who will talk about what this event means to them and why they are the hosts and title sponsors.

That's when the awards ceremony begins. We will present more than 90 plaques, 280 certificates, 18 scholarships and the night will culminate with the Student of the Year receiving the keys to a brand new Jeep Renegade. All together, the prizes and scholarships are worth more than $27,500.

Athletes will receive certificates or plaques for their accomplishments. After they receive their awards, athletes will be photographed with their sport's sponsor by Ed Bolt in front of another Best of Preps backdrop at the back of the room.

We have many sponsors to thank and special thanks go to our Student of the Year judges who helped select Students of the Month and narrow down those students to the Student of the Year. CPN Tribal Vice Chair Linda Capps and Oklahoma Baptist University Director of Development Josh Trimble gave up a lot of time and faced difficult decisions all year. We couldn't have done any of this without their help, the support of our sponsors and the hospitality of FireLake Arena - whose staff will turn the Arena from a major Christian Rock concert Sunday night into the Best of Preps event in less than 24 hours.

Thank you to everyone who sponsored awards or tables. Thanks to them, all of the athletes are able to attend the event for free to be honored for their achievements.
