Clarence and Cindy Culbreath celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, May 4, 2018.

They were married May 4, 1968, in the Idabel First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert DeMoss.

Mrs. Culbreath is the daughter of Fay Weeks and the late Howard Weeks.

Mr. Culbreath is the son of Jimmie Culbreath and the late W.T. Culbreath.

Mrs. Culbreath is retired from South Rock Creek school district after teaching for 25 years.

Mr. Culbreath served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war and received a Purple Heart and various other medals. He retired from the IBEW local 1141 after 30 years.

They have four children: Jo Stewart, Shawnee; Scott Culbreath and his wife Angela, Noble; Chris Culbreath and his wife Gina, Edmond; Derrick Gibson and his wife Aubrey, Melbaca, Germany.

They have nine grandchildren: Christian Hartman, Jordan Hartman, Jesse Stewart, Jaxson Culbreath, Ainsley Gibson, Jakob Stewart, Chloe’ Culbreath, Bailey Gibson and Chelsea Culbreath.

Mr. and Mrs. Culbreath celebrated their anniversary with a luncheon hosted by their children at Broadway United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 5.
