Shawnee's Darrius Blackshire and Kylan Herandez signed letters of intent Thursday to continue their track careers at Southwestern Christian University. Blackshire and Hernandez were two of the top hurdlers in the state this season and Blackshire won the boys 300-meter race in the Class 6A regional in Tahlequah.

Madison Converse signed a letter of intent with Southern Nazarene University Wednesday to continue her track career. Converse took second in the girls 110 and 300 meter hurdles at the Tahlequah regional to earn a spot at the state tournament in Shawnee's first season racing in Class 6A.
