Also on the agenda, Director of Operations Jame Bryce is recommending the city sell a mower to McLoud for $3,000. The mower in question has, in the past, been leased to McLoud and has since been replaced.

“The City of McLoud has requested the ability to purchase the mower to have as a backup at the Lake and to use around town,” Bryce said. “Staff supports this request, as we were going to use it as a trade in for another new mower.”

In other business, a preliminary budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019, as well as the monthly sales tax report, will be presented.

Also, the board may choose to go into executive session to discuss the possible purchase or appraisal of real property.

On the Municipal Authority agenda, Utility Director Steve Nelms is requesting commissioners acknowledge the contract with Central Disposal for Fiscal Year 2018-2019. At the end of each year, the SMA can assess whether to continue service with the company or end it.

The current contract between the city and Central Disposal iwas divided into 10 years and is set to end June 30, 2020.

“Central Disposal has done an outstanding job providing weekly solid waste and recycling curb side pickup,” Nelms said.

During the Airport Authority meeting, a preliminary budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 will be presented to the board, and bids will be considered regarding construction of the T-Hangar Taxilane, AIP project.

The 6 p.m. meeting will take place Monday in the Bertha Ann Young City Commission Chambers at City Hall, at 16 W. 9th St.
