Vincent Nicholas Pepe long time Seminole county resident passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Holdenville at the age of 56.

Vincent was born Aug. 26, 1961, in Fowler, California, to Vincent Thomas Pepe and Dorlas June (Hogwood) Pepe.

Vincent graduated from Maud High School in 1981. He worked at the Holdenville Correctional Faculaty as a correctional guard from 1996 to 2003. He also was employed with the Seminole County District # 2 for six years, he was an oil field truck driver for Joe Mills Seminole Company and he pulled Hot Shot trailers from 2005 to 2012.

Vincent loved hunting, fishing and farming and was an avid sports fan.

Vincent married Twila Quillin on March 4, 1983, in Bowlegs.

Vincent is survived by his wife Twila of the home; three sons, Nicholas Pepe and his wife Stephanie of Seminole, Aiden Pepe of Seminole, and Ray Blanton of Burmingham, Arizona; one daughter, Meghan Coleman and her husband Josh of Seminole; two brothers, William Turner and his wife Anita of Catoosa, Daniel Pepe and his wife Amanda of Sherman, Texas; one sister, Carolyn Pepe of California; father and mother-in-law, Carlos and Brenda Quillian; two grandchildren, Hunter Dale Pepe and Ava June Coleman.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Dorlas June Turner, Vincent Thomas Pepe, Aunt Linda Bessie Shipman and his best brined Mike “Mikie” Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 8, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Seminole with pastors Jim and Nita Moreland officiating. Burial will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Seminole.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 7, at Swearingen Funeral Home.

Because the family knows not everyone is blessed with such a loving husband and father, they ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Family Resource Center (domestic violence services), 211 North Timmons, Seminole, OK, 74868.
