Even though the summer league baseball season is over, the Bethel Wildcats have something to hang their hats on heading into the fall season.

“This summer season was great for the Bethel and our community,” coach Lincoln Dearing said. “I couldn't be more proud of this group. This summer has really given these guys the confidence necessary to be successful next season.”

The team managed to compile a five-game over Tecumseh, Shawnee, McLoud, Cushing and Perkins-Tryon.

During the streak, pitchers Brendan Carlile and Jaylon Gordon surrendered three runs on one occasion.

Bethel managed to beat Tecumseh 8-0, Shawnee 4-1, McLoud 4-3, Cushing 7-1 and Perkins 5-1.
