DALE – The Dale Pirates scored seven runs in the first inning on their way to a dominating 12-2 win over Tushka Thursday evening in the Dale Pirate Invitational.

David Herring had a spectacular night at the plate, going 2-2 with five RBIs and one run scored.

Bryce Crawford and Ike Shirey each had multi-hit games. Crawford scored two runs and added a triple while Shirey added two more runs in the win.

Cooper Hunt, Carson Hunt, Jared Rogers and Tanner Collins all added one hit each.

Dallon Forsythe, Herring and Crawford all chipped in a stolen base.

Karson Hunt picked up the win, going 3 1/3 innings. He also struck out four and walked four.

Jaxon Wright pitched in relief, going 2/3 of an inning.

Dale's next game will be Thursday at 6 p.m.
