OKLAHOMA CITY – The Shawnee Lady Wolves lost their match with Bishop McGuinness Thursday evening.

“We didn't play as well as we should've,” coach Julia Holland said. “We were able to keep up and we learned a lot from the loss. We just have to move on and get ready for Friday.”

All three sets were close, but the Lady Wolves came up just short, losing 25-22, 25-20 and 25-19.

Ashley Kasterke finished with 13 kills and seven digs.

Brooklyn Fluke had 16 digs, five kills and two aces.

Olivia Barlean added 10 digs and one ace. Payton McNeal contributed six digs.

The freshman lost 25-10, 25-23 and the junior varsity fell 25-16, 25-19.

The Lady Wolves (2-1) return to action Friday evening at home against Owasso. Start times are 4/5/6 p.m.
