PRAGUE — The Lady Red Devils of Prague combined nine hits with four walks and four Crooked Oak errors to bombard the visitors 17-0 Thursday.

The game was stopped on the run rule after just 2 ½ innings.

Prague tallied nine runs in the bottom of the first, then added eight more runs in the second.

Beth Denney swatted two home runs while driving in five runs. She also scored three times.

Taylor Hodges added a three-run triple while Diana Manning went 2 for 2 with a double, single and two runs. Josi Goodman, Demi Manning, Karsyn Coleman, Brittany Harwell and Hodges also scored twice.

Denney also collected the pitching victory. She didn’t permit a hit or walk while striking out six.

Prague took a 7-1 lead after one inning of the second game before rain forced an end to the night. Prague had only one hit but Crooked Oak walked seven batters and was guilty of three errors.
