KELLYVILLE — Chandler’s offense couldn’t get in gear Friday, dropping decisions of 2-1 to Adair and 3-0 to Verdigris at the Kellyville Festival.

Chandler’s only run was unearned.

Kylee Lynch was the hard-luck loser against Adair after firing a one-hitter which included seven strikeouts and three walks. Only one of the runs was earned.

Chandler compiled five hits including a Kelsey Williams double. The Lady Lions stranded seven runners.

Verdigris outhit Chandler 8-4 as Makalyn Herring absorbed the loss. Herring fanned two and walked one.

Morgan Fowble, Abbey Russell, Williams and Herring singled for Chandler (7-2).

Chandler is scheduled to play Prague and Okemah today.
