FAIRVIEW — Dale made the most of its 2 ½-hour (one-way) road trip Friday by sweeping district foe Fairview 10-0 and 12-1.

The run-rule opener went just 3 ½ innings after Dale sent 12 batters to the plate in an eight-run second inning.

Dale collected seven hits to go along with eight walks in the opener. Jobey Savage clubbed a three-run double in the second. Skylar Thompson and Addie Bell finished with two singles each.

Victorious hurler Delanie Manning permitted two hits, struck out three and didn’t walk a batter in four innings.

Dale needed all seven innings of the nightcap. The Lady Pirates collected 17 hits with Danyn Lang recording two doubles and two singles. Manning ripped off four singles while Savage had three singles.

Rylie Premo, who pitched four innings, gave up one run. Karleigh Landreth pitched two innings and Addie Bell tossed the seventh.

Dale moved to 8-2 overall and 5-0 in district play. Dale will see more district action at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Tonkawa.
