SHAWNEE – The Lady Wolves beat Owasso to improve to 3-1 on the season Friday night.

Shawnee won in five sets, 25-23, 25-23, 13-25, 25-27 and 15-12.

“We played very well tonight,” coach Julia Holland said. “We came out strong, had a rough third set, but we came back in the fourth but came up short. In the fifth we took control early which helped us win. I am so proud how each girl played tonight. It was a very intense game, but we took care of business.”

Ashley Kasterke led the Lady Wolves with 17 kills, 10 digs and three aces.

Olivia Barlean added 27 digs. Brooklyn Fluke had 14 kills. Regan Wagner contributed 10 kills and Payton McNeil chipped in 12 digs.

The junior varsity squad

won 25-18, 25-18 and the freshman team won 25-16, 25-18.
