WASHINGTON — Washington collected 10 hits en route to upending Prague 5-2 Monday.

In handing Prague just its second loss against nine victories, Washington took the lead for good at 3-1 by scoring three times in the bottom of the opening inning.

Prague scored its second run in the seventh. Washington notched single runs in the third and fifth.

The Red Devils had numerous scoring opportunities with nine hits but stranded nine runners.

Prague leadoff hitter Beth Denney went 3 for 4, all singles. Adisyn Auld had a run-scoring double and Josi Goodman posted a two-bagger. Demi Manning had two singles, one of which drove in a run.

Denney went all six innings on the mound. She whiffed three and walked three.
