VANOSS — Braden Sanders permitted just one hit, a single, in a six-inning stint Tuesday as Asher upended Vanoss 7-1.

Sanders, who threw 98 pitches, reeled off eight strikeouts and walked two. The Vanoss run in the third inning was unearned.

Asher combined five hits with five walks and four hit batsmen.

Two-hole hitter Tye Weeks authored a double and single. Leadoff hitter Jake Dobbs also doubled..

JR Hasbell, who pitched the seventh inning for Asher, retired the side in order.

Asher will be part of the Roff Tournament field Thursday through Saturday.
