SKIATOOK – The Lady Wolves continued their hot streak, beating Skiatook 8-0 Tuesday evening.

Shawnee scored six runs in the first inning, one in the third and their eighth and final run in the seventh. As a team, the Lady Wolves managed 11 hits.

Tatum Sparks went 4 for 4 with a solo home run in the seventh inning. She also had a single and a double in the win.

Kristin Haddox, Scottlyn Wilson, Kali Kasterke and Saidey Smith each recorded a hit and scored a run. Carly Torbett had one hit and scored two runs.

Baylie Enright and Stormee Reed combined for a shutout. The win moves Enright to 4-2 on the year.

The win moves Shawnee to 1-0 in district play.

Shawnee's next game will be Thursday at the FireLake Tournament. They will face Pryor at 6 p.m. The Lady Wolves have games Friday at 10 a.m. against Woodward and 2 pm. Versus Durant. Saturday's action will be at 12 p.m. with Guthrie and 2 p.m. against McAlester.
