Asher, despite a nine-hit, three-walk production, dropped a 6-0 decision to Wright City Thursday at the Roff Tournament.

The Indians had numerous scoring chances but couldn’t come up with clutch hits.

Cameron Grissom recorded two doubles for Asher.

Wright City posted eight hits, including a home run.

Asher starting pitcher Bryson Martin, who went the first 3 1/3 innings, took the loss. JR Hasbell went the final 2 1/3 innings.

Asher will continue tournament play at 12:30 today against Byng.
