SHAWNEE – The Shawnee Lady Wolves were beat 7-1 by Pryor in the first round of the FireLake Invitational Thursday.

Shawnee's lone run came in the seventh inning when Skylar Copeland reached on a walk and scored on a Saidey Smith groundout.

Brittany Harmon was the only Shawnee batter with two hits. She doubled, singled and walked in the loss.

Bailey Enright was the losing pitcher. She went five innings and struck out seven Pryor batters. Stormee Reed pitched two innings in relief and struck out one.

The Lady Wolves return to action Friday at 10 a.m. against Woodward. They play an afternoon game against Durant at 2 p.m.
