A free community art day will be Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art.

Drawing inspiration from the special exhibition, attendees can create their own unique treasure or pirate map. Templates and supplies will be provided. This is a come and go activity.

Also, visit the current “On the Road Again: Art and Objects of Travel” special exhibit, see cool artifacts like Inuit sunglasses, and visit the engagement area to solve the Museum Mystery Map to get a prize from the treasure chest or design a sea monster. Visit the permanent exhibits to see and vote for your favorite artwork.

Admission is free. This Community Art Day is fun for all ages and families are welcome.

Registration is not required. Questions? Contact Donna Merkt at dlmerkt@mgmoa.org or 405-878-5605.
