SEMINOLE – The Lady Chieftains scored in all six innings, beating Tecumseh 9-3 Monday night.

Tecumseh scored one run in the second, one in the fourth and one in the sixth. Seminole scored one run apiece in the first three innings and two runs in innings three through six.

Hayden Harjo and Addison Hill both recorded three hits. Hill had a team-high three RBIs. Harjo drove in two and scored one run.

Kalyn Cotner went 2 for 4 and scored two runs. She added a stolen base in the win.

Alexa Newton, Levi Ary and Sienna Deatherage each had one hit and an RBI. Khya Mitchell went 2 for 4 with an RBI and Karlei Friend went 2 for 3 adding one run. Kaitlyn Mathews contributed one hit and two runs scored.

Tecumseh's Kylee Akehurst went 3 for 3 with an RBI. Emily Bingham joined her with three hits. Bingham scored two runs for the Lady Savages.

Cotner picked up the win for Seminole going five innings. Harjo pitched two innings in relief.

Harley Sturm picked up the loss for Tecumseh.

Tecumseh will host Bishop McGuinness Tuesday at 5 p.m. Seminole will travel to Newcastle with a 5 p.m. start.
