SHAWNEE – The Lady Wolves hit two grand slams in the 11-10 win over Guthrie Saturday.

The Lady Wolves managed one run in the first, one in the fourth, five in the sixth and four in the seventh.

Guthrie scored one run in the second, six in the fifth and three in the seventh.

Kristin Haddox was 2 for 3 with a grand slam. Her five-run at-bat came in the sixth inning.

Sparks' lone hit was a grand slam and was the final at-bat of the game.

Hailey Wilson went 2 for 3 and scored two runs. Layney Rimer was 2 for 4 with a double and a single with one RBI. Skyla Copeland was 3 for 4 with two singles and a double. Kali Kasterke went 2 for 3 with two singles.

In the second game Saturday, Shawnee beat McAlester 6-1.

Shawnee managed two runs in the first and added four more in the fifth inning. McAlester's lone run came in the fourth inning.

Wilson went 3 for 4 with three singles. Sparks was 2 for 4 with two singles. Haddox went 3 for 4 with two singles and a double. Brittany Harmon, Laynie Rimer and Trinity Streater each added two hits in the win.

Stormee Reed pitched five innings and struck out three. Wilson pitched two innings in relief and struck out one.

Shawnee (8-4) returns to action Tuesday with a doubleheader at Glenpool. Start times are 4:30 and 6 p.m.
