HENNESSEY — Kylee Lynch and Makalyn Herring tossed five-inning no-hitters Tuesday as Chandler swept Hennessey 10-0 and 24-0.

In the opener, Lynch fanned 10 and walked one. Chandler committed just one error.

Chandler posted four hits but was aided by three walks and six Hennessey errors.

Abbey Russell and Herring knocked in two runs apiece.

Chandler was never threatened after scoring seven runs in the top of the first inning.

In the nightcap, Herring whiffed four and didn’t walk a batter.

The Lady Lions recorded eight runs in the first, followed by a seven-run second and a nine-run third.

Presley Martzall was the ringleader of Chandler’s 20-hit attack at 4 of 4 with a triple, three singles, three runs and three runs batted in.

Leah Brannon drove in a team-leading four runs with a home run and double. Also collecting a double were Morgan Fowble, Kashlyn Vega and Herring.

Fowble finished with three hits. Kelsey Williams, Vega and Herring chalked up two hits each.

Chandler improved to 16-6.
