KINGFISHER — A four-run third inning carried McLoud to a 6-2 victory over Kingfisher Thursday.

The Lady Redskins added two more runs in the top of the sixth to conclude the scoring.

Gabby Sears, who gave up six hits and retired five batters on strikes, was the winning pitcher.

Shyann Shipman and Callie Cardin, the No. 1 and No. 2-hole hitters, had two hits apiece, as did Jessie Wooten. Shipman doubled and Cardin tripled. Both knocked in two runs, as did Wooten with two singles.

Tuesday, McLoud will be home versus Stroud in a 4:30 varsity/JV twinbill.
